How do I store my treats and do they have an expiry date? All our Dog treats should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, our treats will last a minimum of 3 months up to 6 months, this is due to the natural drying process that gives our treats a longer shelf life.
-
My dog has allergies can you accommodate this if I was to order a treat box?We often get asked if we can swap out treats in our treat boxes or bundles. We are happy to swap out treats for any reason. Please let us know when you check out which item you want us to swap. We will replace this with a similar item. Please note that if your dog has severe allergies, our treats will not be suitable. We store, handle and pack treats in the same area and cannot guarantee that there hasn't been cross-contamination.
-
Are your treats low in fat?Absolutely, all our treats are high in protein low in fat, Our treats such as fish skin cubes, rabbit ears, hooves, sprats, beef tripe and our gourmet liver sausages have a low fat content. Great for our furry friends who are watching their figure.
-
What is Crude Ash?The term “crude ash” refers to the amount of minerals present in our treats, such as calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. It does not mean that we add ash to our treats. Minerals are an essential class of nutrients. They are needed for the development and function of your dog’s body. They help to balance body fluids and to support strong bones and teeth.
-
Do your treats smell? This is the first question i asked myself when i gave my Oscar these treats. Some treats do smell, but non are "really stinky" Our treats are 100% natural and contain no chemicals or additivies unlike like most high street brands who sprinkle flavourings or wash their chews in "bleach" to remove the natural animal smell. If you store them in an airtight container in a cool place they do not smell (to us anyway!) Remember dogs have a great sense of smell, to us they may appear smelly but to your fur baby these will smell irresistible.
-
Are your treats actually natural?Yes...100% natural nothing you buy from Oscars Naturals Pet Treats will have anything other than natural ingredients in them. This is of course the body part of an animal which has then been air dried to help lock in all that precious goodness. We would not give your little fur baby anything we wouldn't allow our own dog to have.
